Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann LLP

When top matrimonial boutique Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann LLP planned its relocation to a larger space at 11 Times Square in 2014, the law firm wanted to retain the office's spectacular city views and maximize natural light. Driven to accommodate a diversity of work activities and create a light-filled high-energy work environment, Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann looked to Gloria Zalaznick Designs, with whom the law firm had an existing relationship, and to the Knoll dealer Offices Limited Inc.

Zalaznick designed all perimeter offices with fully glazed enclosures, allowing light deeper into the center of the space, simultaneously opening views to employees in the open plan workstations. To maximize light and views, the team selected Knoll's AutoStrada system, which could accomodate a balance between privacy needs and a free visual horizon. The planning paid off with recharged energy throughout the office.

In the private perimeter offices, Reff Profiles was chosen for its transitional aesthetic and integrated technology support. Since both the private offices and the workstations would be visible  at all times, the private office system had to be compatible with the clean lines of AutoStrada, while also projecting a more traditional and private space.

The team selected ReGeneration by Knoll® for workstation seating and Moment for conference seating. Life Chair, with its elegant lines, was chosen for the perimeter offices, where the Krusin Side Chair and Moment side chair also provide guest seating.
